Howards™ Single Piece pushrods are engineered for maximum strength and durability. Produced from seamless SAE 4130 chrome moly aircraft tubing. Each tube is case hardened to Rc 60. Pushrods are mirror polished to eliminate the possibility of stress fractures, and finished in black oxide. Strong, but light, well suited for roller applications. Laser etched with size and part number for easy identification. Packed in a unique protective storage case.
A must for all high lift applications. The 210 degree tip gives extra radius clearance to the rocker pushrod cup area. Strongly recommended with all shaft style rocker systems. Formed from SAE 4130 .080” wall centerless ground tubing. Ends are precision swedged to exacting tolerances. Case hardened to Rc 60. Black oxide finish and laser etched with size and part number. Custom pushrods available in 6.000” to 13.000” lengths, in .025” increments. Precision pushrods at affordable shelf stock pricing.
7/16” diameter .165” wall for extra strength, high pressure applications. Double tapered and 5/16” 210° tips provide additional clearance to cylinder heads, lifter bores and lifters. Available in .025” increments.
