A true American billet rod at
prices less than imported billets! These rods start with certified 4340
aircraft quality steel and are fully CNC machined on the newest
generation of equipment to insure the removal of all surface
imperfections. They are specially heat-treated using a mlti-phase
process to produce the ultimate in strength and reliability. Fully
stress relieved and shot peened to insure no stress risers remain. |

All the great features of the Ultimate Duty billet rods, with your
choices of 5/16", 3/8", or 7/16" . You must supply size
and make of the engine, lenght, small and big end bore diameters (not
the bearing inner diameters), and small and
small and big end widths. |

Profiled for long stroke applications and weight savings.
Rods caps are doubled ribbed for added strength. Rod cap alignment
sleeves to keep bearing caps precisely aligned. Bronzed bushed for
floating pins. 7/16" ARP 2000 capscrews(220,000
psi) fasteners secure the caps.
Special MS aerospace fasteners are available as an option. |
